Fall Arts Preview at Comstock Park – Labor Day 2023

September 1, 2023

MusicFest Northwest kicks off the year with an appearance at the Spokane Symphony Comstock Park Concert this upcoming Labor Day, in a tabling event at the Fall Arts Preview. The table will share informative brochures with registration details, class information, and information about the upcoming 2024 festival dates and venues. The booth will also display media and materials from the wonderful 2023 festival, including the most recent programs from our Festival Highlights Concert and Young Artist Concert, in a continued partnership with the Spokane Symphony Orchestra. Rack cards from the previous festival year containing more class information will also be available for view. There will also be t-shirts with the new MusicFest branding and logo being given as gift accompanying any donation via our website. Swing by and take the opportunity to say hello to your MusicFest team, ask questions, and learn about how to become involved in MusicFest 2024, as a participant, educator, parent, volunteer, or donor/partner!

MusicFest Northwest continues in its mission to provide the region with excellent opportunity, performance and education in music and the arts. MusicFest cannot be made possible without the generous and continuous support from our community, sponsors, partners and educators. Please come to support your local symphony orchestra and your local arts organizations at Festival Arts Preview, and learn more about MusicFest Northwest!

MusicFest 2023, what a year in the history of the organization! After a brief two year hiatus brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, MusicFest Northwest jumped back into action with their feet running for the 2023 May festival on the campus of Gonzaga University! The organization made some ground-breaking strides in the hiring of two brand new personnel, Dr. Nicole Sonbert acting as festival director, and Mr. Logan Pintor acting as administrative coordinator. Both Sonbert and Pintor came in with an energized enthusiasm to revamp the 2023 festival, bringing an unprecedented approach and experience to MusicFest. With the support of newly appointed board members and a new president, Dr. Jody Graves, our efforts culminated in designing and launching a new and improved website, introducing a faster and more convenient means for student registration, increased presence of social, print and digital medias, and an entire rebrand to refresh the organizations’ image.
