Welcome to the Ballet Choreography Class!
We invite students to prepare an original dance to a musical selection of your choice! Content may be ballet, character, jazz, modern, or contemporary.
Participants may enter more than once, however a separate entry and fee is required for each entry.
Participants must bring digital music to the adjudication.
Note: No more than 10 dancers per entry. Only one entry form need be submitted if more than one dancer is included.
Participants must provide a digital audio copy of the music and will be judged on the following elements:
- Originality of idea
- Development of the idea as the dance form
- Musical interpretation
- Use of space
- Overall performance
Only one medal will be awarded at the discretion of the adjudicator and that winner will perform at the Festival Highlights Concert on Friday, May 17, 2024.
